You say you want facts, that you like to deal with the truth. But what is truth? Your truth and my truth may be totally different. And what you and I perceive as reality may be nothing but a fantasy – or a nightmare – for someone else. We say truth is objective: genuine Truth probably is. But whose truth shall we accept as the Universal Truth? God is truth; ergo, Truth may be God. But what about mortals? We are so fond of perpetuating out own truths, and defending our own versions as the ultimate truth. How do we reach a compromise? Could there be multiple truths? And if you persist in calling my truth a mere daydream, may I label your so-called truth a pointless exercise in illusory rationalism?
